About Us

Seymours is a Coventry based Firm, which has dealt with a wide range of legal matters on behalf of clients in Coventry and Warwickshire for more than 275 years and has stood the test of time in a competitive and ever changing environment.

The current practice is the result of the amalgamation of two well established Firms, Seymour Smith and Box & Sharpe. Seymour Smith was the oldest Firm in Coventry having been founded in 1730, Box & Sharpe had been in existence for some thirty years. The Firm shortened it name to Seymours on the 1st November 1994 and acquired the practice of Rolland Hollick in January 1995.

Seymours is a three partner practice, which offers a friendly and efficient approach to a wide spectrum of legal matters, for new and existing clients, as detailed in the Services section of the site.

Seymours is regulated by the Solicitors Regulatory Authority Number 71495.

Meet the Team

Adrian Blay

Senior Partner and head of the Residential Conveyancing Department

Adrian studied Law at the College of Law, Guildford. He was articled at Seymours (then Seymours Smith) and admitted as a Solicitor in 1973. Adrian became a Partner in the Firm in 1975 and is now the Senior Partner in Seymours.

In his spare time Adrian enjoys cycling and swimming.

Rob Fardoe

Partner and head of the Commercial and Private Client Departments

Rob studied Law at the University of Liverpool. Rob was articled with Band Hatton of Coventry and was admitted as a Solicitor in 1975. On qualification, Rob worked for Box and Sharpe, becoming a Partner in the Firm and following the merger with Seymours (then Seymour Smith), became a Partner in Seymours.

Apart from spending time with his family, Rob enjoys listening to popular music and following sports including rugby, football, skiing, tennis

Andrew Hardy

Partner and head of the Family and Litigation Departments

Andrew studied Law at Southampton University. Andrew was articled at Roland Hollick & Co, subsequently becoming a Partner in that Firm. Following the incorporation of Roland Hollick & Co into the Firm of Seymours in 1995, Andrew became a partner in Seymours.

Andrew’s interests include running, trips to the theatre and spending time with his family.

Tarsem Sangha

Associate Solicitor in the Family and Employment Department

Tarsem was educated at Wolverhampton University and trained with Varley Hibbs & Co in 1987, joining Seymours in 1998.

Tarsem is a member of the Law Society’s Family Law Panel and a member of Resolution.

Apart from spending time with her young family, Tarsem enjoys running, theatre and traveling.

Gina Ormesher

Associate Solicitor in the Private Client Department

Gina started work at Seymours in 2000 and in 2005 she was admitted as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives. Whilst working at Seymours Gina studied at the College of Law, Birmingham and qualified as a solicitor in 2008.

In her spare time Gina plays piano and enjoys live music and the theatre.

Nicci Goddard

Solicitor in the Family Department

Nicci joined Varley Hibbs Coventry in 1996 as legal assistant before joining the police, where she worked as a civilian in the criminal justice unit.

In 2007 Nicci joined Seymours and was admitted as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives. Nicci works closely with Coventry Haven which advises and supports women experiencing domestic violence.

In her spare time Nicci enjoys going to the gym and reading.

Nikki Doherty

Associate Member of the Institute of Legal Executives in the Private Client Department

Nikki started working at Seymours in 2010 with nine years experience working in local firms of Solicitors. She continues to study with the Institute of Legal Executives in Bedford whilst working for Seymours and is hoping to qualify as a Legal Executive in the near future.

In her spare time Nikki enjoys running, leisurely walks with her dog and reading.

Pauline Higgins

Conveyancer in the Residential Conveyancing Department

Position/Role: Conveyancer in the Residential Conveyancing Department

Pauline joined Seymours in 2010 and has over 18 years experience within the legal profession, of which 8 years have been spent as a Residential Conveyancer previously working for Blakemores Solicitors and more recently Button and Legal

In her spare time, Pauline enjoys spending time with her young children.
