Children and their parents can all be affected by the break down of a relationship.
We provide sensitive and appropriate advice and representation on issues relating to children.
Our services include:
- Residence Orders (formerly known as custody)
- Contact orders (formerly known as access)
- Orders for financial provision and maintenance for your children
- Prohibited Steps Orders preventing a specified course of action been taken without the consent of the Court for example you may wish to prevent the other parent taking your child out of the country or Determining a specific question about the up-bringing of the child, such as whether your child should attend at a specific school.
- Public Law Childcare we advise and assist in all aspects of public law, including attending at case conferences, representation at court and liaising between client’s and professionals involved in the case including social services.
Experienced family team
In most cases, with the benefit of our advice, parents are able to agree arrangements for their children without the need for any legal proceedings. However, if proceedings are necessary, we can help to try and resolve the problem, giving particular focus to what is in your child’s best interest and welfare.
Our highly experienced family team of experts aim to provide the best possible advice within a supportive and understanding environment and includes members of Resolution and The Law Society Family Panel.
For those on low income we hold a Legal Aid Franchise in family law, which means funding may be available for your case.
